There’s something about a mother’s love that just can’t be described
It is in the way she knows exactly which hug her child needs without being asked. It is in the things she does quietly, faithfully, every single day… the things that go unnoticed until, one day, someone takes the time to notice.
This spring, we welcomed some sweet families in the Xenia, Ohio area to our studio for Simply Mama Minis. It was an intimate session event created to celebrate the bond between mothers and their children. Grandmas, little ones, and the mamas who hold it all together gathered for an evening of real moments, genuine laughter, and photographs that will be treasured for generations.
But we had a little secret up our sleeve.
After each session, we quietly reached out to the partners and husbands behind the scenes - the ones who watch these incredible women show up every single day - and asked them to share, in their own words, what makes their wife and the mother of their children so extraordinary.
We knew what came back would be so meaningful to these mamas.

Kristina
"Our kids love their mom because no matter how busy our lives get, she loves them relentlessly — always taking the time to make each of our 3 kids feel seen and deeply loved. Her love for our family is unwavering, and there is no doubt she is our rock."

"Emily is the living personification of the indomitable human spirit as a mom. Whether it's a cold, a broken neck, or a fresh C-section, she charges forward, striving to be the best mom she can be. She is a true matriarch, with a love for our family that drives her to be the best version of herself and to lead by example."

Andrea
"Andrea is selfless when it comes to our children. Whether that is caring for them through every sickness, losing sleep every night so our sweet Ava can join her side in our bed, and doing everything that goes unnoticed — especially by me. Our children feel a love and safety from Andrea that is unmatched and she will always be the most important person in their lives. To say she is a great mother is simply an understatement."

Aiden: "She helps a lot, she lets us play, and she loves us. She's nice... and she takes us to movie theaters."
Ava: "She is a great mommy because she loves me. My favorite thing about mom is hugging her and eating snacks with her at the movie theater. Mommy, I love her. When I'm tired I can just give her some hugs."
