“We just had our newborn session with Lindsay yesterday for my second son. I found her while I was still living in Virginia. My family knew we'd be moving to Ohio when I found out I was pregnant with our second, so I started researching photographers immediately. I chose Lindsay based off the great reviews and the beauty of her photographs I saw on FB, IG, and her website. I knew she was in high demand when I called in July about reserving a newborn photo shoot for March and she was almost fully booked! Glad I was able to snag a spot!
Our first son was born in Virginia and we had his newborn photos done there. Night and day difference between the two sessions. For my first (not done with Lindsay), I remember being really stressed and frazzled the entire time (and I didn't even have a toddler with me then). The studio was cold. I was starving. I felt frumpy because the family shots were of us in plain black shirts with a dark backdrop. Fast forward to my session with Lindsay...it was painless. I never felt awkward with the posing. Everything felt natural. Even with our energetic toddler running around, I never once felt stressed out. She was able to catch the most precious photos of my two sons, even when my toddler was being silly and didn't want to sit still for more than two seconds. I didn't have to worry about wardrobe, which is HUGE. She had everything covered and the dress she recommended was gorgeous. There were also snacks. As a sleep-deprived mom of a newborn, you often forget to eat or you just don't have the time, so the snacks were a big deal to me! Communication was also great! I got emails detailing what to expect at the session and how to prepare, along with a reminder email about two days before (which is great when you're having newborn mom brain). Lindsay does a great job of taking the guesswork out of everything. The value is also beyond compare.
The outcome is a thing of beauty. The pictures are breathtaking and just simply gorgeous. No added frills...just beautiful colors, fabrics, and perfect lighting. I couldn't have imagined anyone better to capture my family.
All this to say, as a newer client, I'll definitely recommend Lindsay Nicole Photography to all of my local friends and acquaintances, and I plan on using her for all of our family photo needs for as long as we live in the area!” -Brittney
“You'll never really know how much you need newborn pics until you have a session with Lindsay Nicole Photography! Seriously, Lindsay goes above and beyond to provide the best images all while making sure you are comfortable . The first time we ever met was my maternity shoot with my oldest, and she immediately made both my husband and I feel so relaxed. My husband actually asked if I already knew her from somewhere because the newborn session was SO relaxed and chill. Immediately postpartum I always feel all weird and swollen and puffy—and NONE of that shows in the photos. Relaxed and flexible, she takes flattering angles and shots of mama, and angelic baby shots (she is the baby whisperer BTW, she absolutely taught me how to swaddle a newborn!). I can’t believe nobody has mentioned all the SNACKS in the back. It’s such a chill environment, and she is SO patient and totally not awkward if you need to nurse or eat or whatever during your session. 100/10 would recommend—we drive from out of state to see her for these sessions because we’re so comfortable with her and so impressed by her talent, commitment, and overall awesomeness.” - Elizabeth
“Newborn sessions are my favorite! Both my son and daughter had their newborn sessions done by Lindsay. Most recently was my daughter’s. We had to reschedule multiple times as my daughter had a NICU stay and a family illness. I’m so thankful she was understanding of the situation and was flexible with us. Having wardrobe available was extremely beneficial as it relieved the stress of picking out what to wear. Also, her attention to detail and organization made the session stress-free. We have used Lindsay twice now for our newborn story sessions. She does a lot to make the session comfortable for everyone, which I appreciated especially being freshly postpartum from a c-section! She provides snacks as well which was great with having a toddler. The wardrobe styling is amazing, makes it way less stressful trying to purchase and coordinate everyone's outfits. Lindsay has photographed two sessions for us now and we have our 3rd booked with her already. She’s made both experiences so incredibly easy and stress free which is a must when having family photos taken and so patient with our wild little ones.
